Summer Garden Party
Sunday, July 14th
The Centre is holding a Summer Garden Party in the grounds on Sunday 14 July 2019, from 12pm until 4pm.
It will be a fun event with BBQ, cream teas, bar, raffle, craft stall, bring-and-buy pop-up shop, and will include children’s entertainment with Magic Vince, a face-painter and giant garden games. We will also have live music from MustBMad (covers of 1950’s – current popular tunes), the Heavitree Strummers (a fabulous local ukulele band), and the Digby Community Choir.
Everyone is welcome and tickets for adults are just £5 per person, available in person from the Centre reception. Children aged 16 and under get in free (accompanied by an adult). Alternatively, please email email@example.com or telephone reception on 01392 447411 (card payments accepted after 1 July).
There will be a small cost for the food and drink, as we are raising funds to replace the failing air conditioning units in the Orangery. The Orangery is used on a daily basis for our essential therapies which forms a part of the crucial service we provide to our members. It is also used by other local organisations and groups for meetings.
Please feel free to bring a picnic rug or chair (some garden furniture will also be available), find a place on the lawn or under one of the trees in the shade, and enjoy a pleasant afternoon with the staff and volunteers at the Centre. We look forward to seeing you there!
The South West MS Centre was established in 1982 as a self-funding registered charity to provide for the provision of therapies, information and support for people with Multiple Sclerosis, their carers and families in the South West. We offer a number of therapies in a welcoming and friendly environment promoting independence and to improve well-being and quality of life of our members.
Price: £5 per adult (children 16 and under free)
