The Devon Air Ambulance attends crash on northbound carriageway.
Police and other emergency services delt with a collision on the M5 northbound near Cullompton this morning. The carriageway closed at junction 29 in both directions to allow for the air ambulance to land. The southbound section opened after a short time
The collision involved a Renault Clio happened at around half past six. The car overturned in the middle lane trapping a woman inside with potentially life changing injuries. It is unclear at this stage whether any other vehicles have been involved.
