Devon residents fork out twice as much as London's Westminster area in household running costs.
A new report by Uswitch has revealed that the ten most expensive postcodes for running a home are all in Devon.
The study takes into account the cost of utility bills like electricity and council tax.
The South Hams tops the list at £332 permonth, but not far behind are areas like Mid Devon, West Devon, Torridge, Teignbridge and North Devon.
The highs costs are in part down to our expensive water bills as Devon has an extensive pipe network and large coastline.
