VIDEO: 650 people dress up as Santa in aid of local charities

More than 600 Santa's ran through Exeter high street yesterday (Sunday 2nd December) for the annual Exeter City Community Trust Santa Run.

Following registration, the 5km race started at 9am with the Family Fun Run (2.5km) starting 40 minutes later.

Julian Tagg, chairman of Exeter City Football Club, says: "Across the city, this event is for everybody - someone from three years-old to 80 years-old. It's very important that everyone knows the importance of that.

"City Community are working really hard alongside Exeter City Council to get as many people as we can fit and healthy. To see so many people dressed, having fun and being active on a Sunday morning is great to see.

The winner of this years 5km race was Adam Holland from Tavistock. Mr Holland, who also won last year's race, crossed the finishing line in just 16 minutes!
