Cyclists en route from John O'Groats

Will they still look so relaxed at Land's End?

Land's End should be reached on Tuesday

A bunch of hardy cyclists from Exeter School are well on their way into a journey from the tip of Scotland to the foot of England to raise funds for the Children's Society and mental health charity Mind.

Calling themselves the Jogle 18 team, the 18 participants are recreating a trip first undertaken two years ago and which raised £28,500.

Team member and head of sixth form Ali Marsh says: “The first two days werereally tough cycling over 100 miles a day. The scenery has been stunning though and our brilliant back up team has kept us fed and watered. Day three saw us set off from Fort William riding through Glencoe in the Scottish Highlands then climbing over 6,000 feet to finish in Hellensburgh."

The team will have a pit stop at Exeter School on Monday morning, before continuing their ride over Dartmoor and into Cornwall, before reaching Land's End on Tuesday.

They are Tweeting @2018Jogle and have a Virgin Money Giving page at: https://bit.ly/2HMaCxR
