'Lessons to be learned' from Exeter stalking case

Devon and Cornwall police say they're undertaking significant measures to improve the support on offer to victims of stalking.


Earlier this month a man was found guilty of the attempted murder of an Exeter woman,  who he'd stalked for five years before attacking her.

A dedicated senior officer is now responsible for increasing awareness of stalking ... and officers are being trained to improve their understanding of it.

Detective Chief Inspector John Trott says the force are examining what they can learn from the Exeter case.
