Nails & screws being dropped outside school

Some locals say it's been going on for years.

Police in St Thomas, Exeter are trying to find out who is behind nails and screws being dropped on a road near a primary school.

School Road is a busy drop off and pick up route behind St Thomas School.

But the local PCSO says the situation is now getting dangerous and whoever is doing it needs to be caught.

His post on facebook attracted many comments - some saying they'd recently got punctures, others saying they were worried about taking their children along the road.

Officers are asking if you get a puncture repaired, you ask to keep the nail or screw and hand it in to Police as this will count as evidence.
