Proposal for new free primary school in Broadclyst

A new four hundred and 20 pupil primary school could to be built in Broadclyst.

The existing primary will put forward a proposal for a new free school to the Department for Education later this year.

Head teacher Jonathan Bishop says the school is needed because of the high demand for places in the existing school - which is likely to increase when new housing developments are built in the local area.
