Ricky Pellow looks ahead to Fridays Anglo-Welsh Cup Final

Exeter Chiefs and Bath will battle it out at Kingsholm for the Anglo-Welsh Cup, just a few short weeks after snow saw the original match postponed.

The Chiefs saw off their West Country rivals 20-18 in the Aviva Premiership Rugby on Friday and will hope for a similar result in their fourth straight Anglo-Welsh final.

Speaking ahead of the game, Exeters skills coach Ricky Pellow, is expecting a tough encounter.

"Both teams are going to be fully prepared and itching for this game," said Pellow, speaking to Exeter Chiefs TV. "Friday night was really pleasing from our perceptive to get the win in the Premiership, but Friday will be another game.

"We have always gone into this block using the squad, nothing is going to change. The players that were in the semi-final will be involved this Friday. We know we are in for one hell of a game, we will be playing against a really strong Bath side and we have to be right on our metal to win. But we have a group of players that will be hungry to put on a Chiefs shirt and looking to put in a performance.

"It's a massive day for the club and a big game for the players. If we put in the emotion and physical endeavour, that will get us over the line."
