Two charged with robbery

Host of other alleged offences too

Two men have been charged with robbery and a series of other offences after an incident in Exeter City Centre on Tuesday evening.

Police were called around 9.30 pm following reports of a Fiat Punto driving erratically and colliding with another vehicle on Queen Street before stopping. Two men fled and were arrested shortly after near St. David's Church.

29-year-old Michael Keogh from Northampton and Nathan Pitt, who's the same age, and who's address isn't known, were caught after running away from a car that had his another vehicle on Queen Street.

Mr Keogh's on bail on charges of failing to provide a specimen of breath, robbery, attempted robbery, driving without the correct insurance and failing to stop after an accident.

.Mr Pitt's been remanded in custody. He's charged with using threatening words or behaviour likely to cause alarm or distress, robbery, attempted robbery and assault by beating. 

Both men will appear at Exeter Crown Court on 1 December.
