Two die in Kingsteington crash

One more is critical with life-changing injuries

Two people have died and one is in a critical condition following a two-car collision on Bank Holiday Monday.

Two Jaguars were involved in the incident around 5.45 p.m. on the B3193 Clay Pits Way, Kingsteignton.

The driver of one vehicle, a 27-year-old man and his passenger, a 17-year-old boy, both from Chudleigh, died at the scene. Formal identification has yet to take place, but next of kin of both people have been informed. 

The driver of the second car, a man in his 60s, also from Chudleigh, has suffered life-changing injuries and was airlifted to Derriford Hospital by Devon Air Ambulance.

The road remained closed for more than 12 hours, reopening just before 8 a.m. on Tuesday.
