VIDEO: Sam Skinner - Pre Leicester

Sam Skinner, Back-Row for Exeter Chiefs, is looking forward to Exeters last home game of 2017.

Exeter Chiefs, who currently have a 10 point lead at the top of the Aviva Premiership, face Leicester Tigers on Sunday (New Years Eve) at Sandy Park.

Leicester travel to the West Country on a bad run of form having lost there last 5 games. Chiefs on the other hand, are pursuing there seventh successive Premiership victory.

Now, Skinner and the Chiefs will be hoping to wrap up a memorable 2017 in style. However, Leicester and Gloucester remain the only two sides to have defeated the Chiefs in the league so far this season. As they proved in Septmeber, Leicester are a hard side to beat. They showcased there attacking abilities against Exeter as they narrowly defeated them 20-13 earlier this season.

Ahead of the game on New Years Eve, Sam Skinner told Radio Exe:

"Leicester are very physical, they have a lot of talented individuals in the team." He said. "Ultimately, we will have to be very physical in order to dictate the game.

"We always want to be at the top, bonus points are really important too. When we play we look to score tries and make it a sceptical as well."

Exeter Chiefs encounter against Leicester on Sunday has attracted plenty of attention. The stadium has now sold out.

"It's awesome when its rocking here at Sandy Park. It's great to be apart of these sort of games."
