Matt Young
You can catch Matt between 2 and 7pm weekday afternoons here on Radio Exe with Burgoynes Estate Agents! He'll have your Topical Three at 3 for you, where he asks you to select the music to go with a chosen news story. From experience, the better the song is, the more likely it is to get played. He'll also be selecting the Tweet of the Day too. So, if you spot a particularly amusing tweet make sure you forward it on to our Twitter Account. He'll update you on the entertainment news a couple of times during the show and he'll also be driving you made with the 'Song Bite' at 4.15pm every weekday.

A bit about Matt...
Matt has been on the radio for over 12 years now but he left school with one ambition and one ambition only... to be a car salesman. He achieved this dream within six months of leaving school and so has been very lazy ever since.
During his working career, Matt has also been a draughtsman (he drew pictures of pipes going through flooring, fascinating), a fire extinguisher salesman (he was rubbish and lasted six months... no ambition you see) and also fitted car stereos for a living (fitted... not 'stole').
Matt is originally from Kent but has lived in Devon for around 13 years in total. He started his broadcasting career on BBC Radio Kent and used to work alongside Barbara Sturgeon, the BBC Radio 2 legend (no, I don't remember her either!).
Marriage happened late in life for Matt, but eventually he managed to convince Michele to marry him in 2010. Nearing 40 now, he seems happy with his lot... a little afternoon slot on Radio Exe, a wife, two step-children, a dog called 'Dave' and a big, shiny, bald head.
