Vacancy: Support Worker role working with adults with learning disabilities and Autism at Stallcome House
Job type: Full-time / Part-time
Stallcombe House is a residential establishment set on a 55 acre organic farm on the outskirts of Exeter. Our ideal candidate will have previous experience of working with learning disabled adults and Autism. You should be able to use your own initiative as well as work as part of a team, be self motivated & patient. Experience is desired but not essential as full training can be provided.
The full time support worker role will involve working a regular shift pattern, to include every other weekend. Early shifts start from 07:00-14:30 and late shifts from 14:00-21.30. You will be expected to work an average of 37.5 hours per week.
This role involves supporting residents with daily tasks, living skills and attending appointments. A car is required due to location. Permanent contract, 32 days (pro-rata) per year.
A residential working environment for adults with a learning disability
At the time of the advertisement, the home has been free from COVID and strict guidelines are in place to maintain this. Staff are required to be tested three times weekly on-site. Face mask must be worn at all times whilst on site. Successful candidates will be required to receive a COVID vaccination if they have not done so already.
