Alphington Primary School have raised more £1,400 for the children’s charity NSPCC’s after being inspired by one of the charity’s Speak out Stay Safe assembly sessions.
They learnt about the different kinds of abuse, and how to identify trusted adults they can speak to about worries they may have.
They were so impressed the student mental health ambassadors helped them organise a sponsored run where the school ran one mile and some even ran two.
