Colyford road shut for several hours
A motorcyclist has sustained serious injuries following a crash with a car in an East Devon village.
Emergency services were called to the A3052 at Boshill, Colyford at around 2.20pm on Monday 23 June to reports of a road traffic collision involving a silver BMW motorbike and a white Peugeot 2008.
The biker, a man aged in his 60s, sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital. His next of kin are aware.
The road was closed for several hours whilst specialist roads policing officers conducted investigations.
It was reopened at around 9.40pm and Devon and Cornwall Police have thanked the public for their patience during the road closure.
Police are keen to hear from the driver of an unidentified vehicle which was present at the time of the collision.
