There are calls today for the resignation of the East Devon district councillor who's been taking payments for offering advice on gaining planning permission.
Conservative Graham Brown, who represents Feniton and Buckerell, was secretly filmed as part of an undercover investigation by the Daily Telegraph.
Councillor Brown does not sit on the council's planning committee and the council says there's no evidence of him exerting improper influence on their decisions - he has openly declared his work as a planning consultant.
But the Conservative group on the council have suspended him, and Independent councillor Claire Wright, member for Ottery Rural, thinks he should no longer be a public representative.
