Chiefs players send goodbye messages to Will Chudley

Exeter Chiefs scrum half Will Chudley is to leave the club at the end of the season to join Premiership rivals Bath.

The 29-year-old has spent six years with the Devon club, during which time he has played an instrumental role in the rise of the Chiefs.

Signed by Rob Baxter from Newcastle Falcons during the summer of 2012, the Kettering-born back has proved an astute signing, producing a catalogue of outstanding displays during his 119 appearances to date for the Chiefs.

Speaking to the clubs website, Chudley said: "I've had six unbelievable years with the Chiefs. I've been very lucky to be part of something very special here at the club and the friends I've made during my time in Exeter will last for a lifetime.

"I knew when I moved to the Chiefs from Newcastle that I was joining a hugely ambitious club and that has proved the case. Each year people have seen the progression of the club and to be part of the team that won the Premiership last year was a very special moment for me.

"Although I've not got that long left with the club, I'm determined to make sure I end my time here with the Chiefs on a real high. We're in a great position in the league and we've still got so much to play for, so I'll be doing all I can to help us achieve a big finish."
