Council dismisses rumours over hotel being used to house the homeless

Speculation that Exmouth's planned new hotel would be used to accommodate homeless people are being rubbished by the district council.

East Devon district council says the number of homeless people in bed & breakfasts is currently at a historically low level and it certainly hasn't had any talks with Premier Inn about using the new hotel for that purpose.
