Exeter city councillors have deferred their discussions on a controversial new supermarket on the outskirts of Topsham.
The proposal for an Aldi store on land off Exeter Road was on the agenda for yesterday's planning committee.
But objectors claimed councillors hadn't had time to properly digest the reports on the proposal that would need to inform their decision.
