Exeter woman hailed 'a hero'.
A potential disaster at a European airport has been averted, thanks to the intervention of an Exeter businesswoman.
Faye Williams, who runs events company Bar Nova, was returning to the UK from Corfu Airport last week with her family when they became caught up in huge crowds trying to catch flights.
She’s been dubbed a hero by other passengers and the captain of her airline after helping with crowd control.
She says she knew it was becoming dangerous when a woman in front of her began to be taken ill.
