A message on the school's website says certain shortcomings in safeguarding practices at the school were highlighted during the recent visit and the site will be shut on Friday 12th October.
Leadership and governance has also come under fire.
The school's Governing Board has now delegated its responsibilities to an independent Academy Management Committee.
