An Exmouth man has won a long legal battle against the construction giant Balfour Beatty and been awarded £137,000 in compensation.
Nigel McArthur blew the whistle over what he saw as deception over a building contract.
Mr McArthur, formerly a regional manager with the company, became concerned about a potential £18.5 million contract with the Welsh Government in 2014.
The company had said its profits would be 3.3% of the total cost - but hadn't submitted the lowest quotes from subcontractors and would in fact be making more.
Mr McArthur tried to raise his concerns through the official company procedures but was met with bullying and denial. He then resigned and lodged a claim for constructive dismissal through law firm Stephens Scown.
Balfour Beatty finally admitted the claim and made the payout just before Christmas.
