The focus of Fair Trade is closer to home in Exeter this weekend,as the city council urge people to support local food banks as well as struggling farmers in developing countries.
Today in Bedford Square, shoppers are being asked to donate some staple groceries for the city's food bank, which distributes them to people with no money to feed themselves or their families.
In exchange for the donation, they get a free Fair Trade tea or coffee in the nearby St Stephen's Church.
Free samples of fair trade food will also be on offer in Bedford Square
