Two important local road schemes have received Government funding. Devon county council is to receive four point seven million pounds after bidding for the money successfully.
The funding will go towards the new Crediton link road, which received final approval from councillors this week, and the Tithebarn link road which will provide access to the new developments at Monkerton and Cranbrook on the outskirts of Exeter.
The Tithebarn road will also form part of a bus route linking those developments with Exeter city centre.
