The County Council has been awarded more than nine million pounds to help repair the thousands of potholes caused by bad weather and flooding.
The funding should allow the council to mend 172 thousand holes.... at an estimated cost of 53 pounds each.
Nationally, a total of 168 million has been allocated to local authorities for the repairs.
