Dutch Herder/ Malinois cross needs new home
Meet Lola? She's fit, healthy, but her hips aren't up to scratch when it comes to making the grade as a police dog, so she needs a new home.
Devon and Cornwall Police are having to take her off their puppy development programme because of it.
Lola’s a Dutch Herder/ Malinois cross and is 12 months old. She needs an owner or family with experience of this type of breed. She's said to have a loving nature and is good with people and other dogs, but she can be stubborn and needs someone who is firm but fair.
The puppy walker family who have cared for her and looked after her for 10 months since she was very small are very sad to lose her, but this is very occasionally the way of the development programme.
