British Transport police have released a photo of a man who subjected a train guard to a torrent of abuse and threats, after being found to be travelling without a ticket on a train from Exeter.
He was on the service bound for Salisbury but was checked by the guard between Exeter and Honiton, and told to leave the train as he had no money to buy a ticket.
He got out at Honiton but not before threatening and insulting the guard.
t's thought the man may have been travelling to Axminster or Crewkerne.
Police would like to hear from anyone who can identify him.
