Geoff Ames, who has Alzheimers, went missing from his home in Exeter
The public were asked to look out for the 86-year-old, who went missing from the Elm Grove area of Exeter, near the university and Exeter Central station.
Mr Ames has Alzheimers.
He was found yesterday afternoon by police and is safe and well.
