Missing teenager found safe and well

An East Devon teenager, who went missing two months ago, has been found safe and well - just ten miles from his home.

Fifteen year old Arthur Heeler-Frood had been missing from his Axminster home for ten weeks after failing to arrive at school. He sent a letter to his parents saying he was bored of life.

He was spotted by a member of the public on a train from Exeter to Honiton yesterday and located by police at the town's Railway station...he was later reunited with his family.

In a statement Arthur says he has spent the last 10 weeks exploring London, Birmingham and Manchester by foot, sleeping rough at night. He's very grateful to everyone, who has helped to find him, and he's apologising to the police.

His parents, Jeremy and Caroline, say they're overjoyed to have Arthur home...he's tired, grubby and rather smelly, but otherwise none the worse for his experiences. They say they're now making plans for his future.
