Numerous cars egged in North Devon

They 'put a traffic cone on the road causing cars to stop'

A number of people in North Devon allegedly had their cars egged earlier this week. People took to Facebook to report the incidents, which happened around Whiddon Valley roundabout.

One comment, made by Sophie in the North Devon Facebook community group, said: " My husband's car is another amongst the many that have had their cars egged this evening (Tuesday 9th December), driving on the main road from Whiddon valley roundabout to McDonald’s.

"It’s an accident waiting to happen, the idiots put a traffic cone in the middle of the road which causes the cars to stop, they then take the opportunity to throw eggs at the car, so dangerous.

"He didn’t get a look as they were hidden in the bushes!"

Another comment, posted by Lewis, said: "Thank you to whoever just threw an egg at my car as I drove past Westerly BMW about 5 minutes ago."
