75-year-old man died in hospital
An elderly man has died after being hit by a car near Sidmouth.
Emergency services were called to Under Lane Harcombe, near the East Devon town at 15.10 on Monday 17 November following reports of a crash involving a pedestrian and a black Range Rover
The 75-year-old man was taken to the Royal Devon & Exeter Hosiptal with life threatening injuries, where he later died a few hours later.
His next of kin have been informed.
Local road closures were put in place while emergency services dealt with the scene.
