Craig Harris was 37 and from Scotland
The crash happened in the early hours of Saturday 6th October
Emergency services were called at 2.26am to reports of a collision between a car and a pedestrian on the A382, Newton Road, Bovey Tracey.
Craig Harris, aged 37, who was from Scotland, but lived in Devon. He died at the scene. His next of kin are being supported by a Family Liaison Officer.
Officers from the Alliance Roads Policing Team are investigating the collision and would ask that anyone with information contact the Police on 101 quoting the log number 147 of 6th October 2018.
