Police investigating reports of an assault on a man on Gilwell Street, Greenbank, Plymouth are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
Officers are looking into reports of an assault on a man in his 30s between 3a.m and 5 a.m, on Saturday 2 October.
The suspect is described as a white male with short mousey/ginger hair and a short beard. He is of average height and build.
