The number of people injured on Devon and Cornwall's roads has fallen by nearly 10%.
In the year to March 2013 just under 5-thousand 400 people were injured, that's down from nearly 6-thousand the year before.
But in the same period the number of people killed went up, from 56 to 62.
Across the country there was a 10% fall in road casualties and a 7% fall in deaths.
