A tortoise has been found - nearly 300 miles from its home in the Silverton area.
It turned up in a lorry carrying newspapers which were about to be pulped at a recycling plant in Norfolk.
Staff there think the tortoise was hibernating in a box of paper put out for recycling and was accidentally collected by Mid Devon council's recycling team.
Anyone who's missing a tortoise is asked to get in touch.
