Research by Exeter University is paving the way for young patients with heart problems to get better advice on taking exercise.
A study was carried out by the University's Children's Health and Exercise Research Centre.
It found that when children leave hospital after treatment or surgery, many families don't receive clear information on the levels of activity that can benefit them.
An exercise toolkit is now being piloted at Bristol's hospital for children.
