The horrific killing of a small dog in an Exeter park by a larger breed has led to an urgent meeting being held today.
The attack in Belmont Park happened last Thursday when a Yorkshire terrier belonging to an elderly woman was killed in front of her by a Staffie-type dog.
Today other dog owners are joining police, councillors and local residents to discuss possible ways of ensuring that all animals are kept under control.
