Women scratched & punched
Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Plymouth city centre which left a woman with a serious facial injury.
Officers are investigating a report that the victim, aged in her 30s, was punched and scratched by a female suspect in the early hours of Saturday 29 October.
The incident happened in an area between The Bank pub and the Theatre Royal at around 4.25 am.
Detectives have appealed for witnesses and would particularly like to hear from a male on a bicycle who stopped and asked the victim if she was alright. The victim required hospital treatment for her injuries.
