Devoncast- Coastal road washes away, Exeter Science Park CEO and Miss Saigon at Plymouth's Theatre Royal

52 minutes | Friday, 6 February 2026

A scenic coastal road in South Devon could be closed for at least a year after collapsing into the sea following recent stormy weather. We have reaction from local residents and south Devon Liberal Demorcrat MP, Caroline Voaden.

Also this week, I speak to the outgoing CEO of Exeter Science Park who looks back at her acheivements and a look ahead to the future of the site.

We also meet the boss of one of Devon’s top tourist attractions who says that despite record visitor numbers last summer, the outlook for summer 2026 is far from certain.

And we hear from a teenager starring in a brand new production coming to Theatre Royal Plymouth over the coming weeks.

Josh Tate presents this edition of Devoncast.
