Torquay United had contrasting results in the past week with that wonderful 3-1 win against Newport County followed by Wednesday's 6-0 defeat at Plainmoor by Plymouth Argyle.
It was a bit of a wake-up call for Gulls fans but manager Paul Wotton isn't too worried. In fact he called it 'a brilliant learning curve'.
Guy Henderson and Richard Hughes talk about the two games, and how pre-season is going. They talk about the different balls used on Wednesday, and the make-up of the crowd - with many more than the 1,500 Argyle fans in the crowd of over 5,000.
We are closing in on the season and the manager will have learned a lot from Wednesday night - so there's no need to panic, ahead of games against a young Exeter City side and Weymouth next week.
