Exmouth postboxes get woolly hats

And they look rather splendid

Some creative residents in Exmouth have been busy knitting, designing and devising postbox toppers, pictured above, for many to enjoy!

All their time and materials are generously being donated to local charity, Hospiscare.

It's called 'The Exmouth Mail Trail' and the creations will be there now until the end of October. The volunteers who created the art worked on it for months.

If you want to find all 24 postbox toppers, there's a map! Just visit one of their friendly outlets and make a minimum donation of £1. Every penny donated will be received by Hospiscare.

The team of yarnbombers, who made all these fabulous works of art, consist of: Marlies Cawes – Marlies’ creations crocheted with love, Ginny Graves, Terri-ann Davis – chronichookcrochetpirate, Tanya Rodgers, Emily Taylor – Made by Milly Crochet, Catrina Marsh, Charlie Jury, Natalie Morrison – Crochetgirl74, Exmouth Crafty Crafters, Amanda Strowger, Lynn Booth, Helena Stubbs, Pam Day, Rosie Gedye, Ally, Dawn, Shelley Mathews – providing topper for guest post box in East Budleigh, Jade Angell, Sue Brooks, Sarah Trickett, and Deb Lee.⠀
