A major event designed to tackle crime in Devon's rural areas is taking place in Exeter today.
Police, the National Farmers Union and security experts are joining forces to identify ways landowners and other country dwellers can thwart offenders.
The event at Westpoint's not just looking at thieves targeting farms and small business units.. but also the wider issues of wildlife crime, flytipping and trespassing.
The Police and Crime Commissioner Tony Hogg is due to attend in the afternoon.
One of the organisers is the Country Land and Business Association, who say they'll tell Mr Hogg that while they recognise the importance of crime prevention, they want to emphasise the importance of effective policing in rural areas as well.
