Proposals have been unveiled for a new cycleway in East Devon, running from Feniton to Sidmouth.
The sustainable travel charity, SUSTRANS, have examined whether a cycleway would be feasible.
They believe it should follow a diusused railway line and take in Tipton St John and Ottery St Mary. The need for the study came out of a public meeting last year.
The trail would cost around one pound four million pounds...but if a bridge over the A 3052 at Bowd had to be built the cost would double.
If the scheme goes ahead it could generate six hundred thousand pounds a year from cycling visitors.
