Annual cannabis gathering at FlowerPOT Fields, Exeter
Cannabis smokers are gathering in an Exeter park this afternoon (Saturday) to protest against the drug being illegal.
The Devon Cannabis Club's going to be openly promoting cannabis use at Flowerpot Fields - and trying to sign up new members to fund their campaign and 'secret smoke meet-ups'.
It's the fourth such public display of public promotion of the drug. Recently they congratulated Devon pot users for making the south west the cannabis capital of the country.
The police generally take a relaxed approach.
No one has been arrested at any of the previous three events. The club emphasises this is a peaceful protest, and that they are keen to explain the truth about the drug.
