It happened near the Lyme Regis/Axminster turn off.
Devon and Cornwall Police has confirmed a 27 year old man from Colyton has died after a collision on Raymond's Hill this morning (Thursday 4th July)
Emergency services were called at around 5.30am to the A35 between the two Axminster junctions.
In a statement police said:
"Emergency services were called at around 5.30am this morning (Thursday 4 July) with reports of a collision between a van and a cyclist on the A35 at Raymonds Hill, Axminster.
The cyclist, a 27-year-old man from Colyton, was pronounced deceased at the scene. His next-of-kin have been informed.
Witnesses, or anyone with dashcam footage who was in the area at the time of the incident, are urged to contact police on 101, quoting log number 111 of 4 July 2019."
The road has since reopened.
