RSPCA inspectors are investigating after a dog with a painful ear infection was apparently abandoned outside a shop in Exeter.
The Staffie Sharpei cross was left tied up outside the One Stop Shop in Topsham Road earlier this month.
She was in pain and in desperate need of veterinary treatment.
The dog, called Trixie, is now recovering and it's hoped she can be re-homed, - but anyone with information about where she came from should contact the RSPCA.
