Detectives in Exeter are appealing for information after a burglary at a jewellery shop in the city centre yesterday.
Around £17,000 of items were taken from Ivor Doble Jewellers on Sidwell Street.
It's thought the culprit entered through the rear of the building between two and two thirty in the morning on Monday, smashing open two display cabinets.
Nine and 18 carat gold rings with various stones, silver rings and bracelets have all been taken. Anyone offered similar items or who has information is asked to contact DC Prince at Exeter CID on 101.
