Officers looking for information about Queen Street incident.
Police in Exeter are appealing for information about an attempted robbery.
A group of males approached a 17-year-old boy who was on his own at around 8.45pm and tried to take his bag.
The victim managed to get away from the group and contact police.
Officers have issued an appeal for any witnesses to come forward. It happened on on Thursday 20th February.
Detective Constable Ed Mitchell said: “Queen Street appears to have been relatively busy around the time and it is hoped that this incident would have been witnessed by passing members of the public.”
