Boris Johnson has told Radio Exe his Leave Europe campaign's had major support in Exeter - and joked that his battle bus hadn't had eggs thrown at it.
His battle bus attracted large crowds in Princesshay yesterday - and there was some disappointment that he wasn't there in person to meet the public.
However he did meet the media including Radio Exe in Southernhay later in the evening.
He claimed 98 per cent of the people he'd met supported his campaign - and said his battle bus hadn't been subjected to any abuse, unlike the Manchester United team bus which was attacked by West Ham supporters this week.
